










ELDER NORA Y. PORTER
Elder Nora Y. Porter is a native of Decatur, Alabama. She is a graduate of Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. She serves with her husband, Bishop J. Venturnio Porter, as Pastors and Founders of Christ Cathedral in Fayetteville, North Carolina. To her Christ Cathedral family, she is affectionately known as “Mother”. She currently serves as the Church Administrator and President of the Women In Ministry.
Elder Nora is noted for her anointing to lead God’s people into higher and deeper dimensions through praise and worship. She believes being sensitive to the Spirit of God allows you to tap into barriers breaking depths in the Spirit with supernatural accuracy.
She has been fearfully and wonderfully made to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with boldness and clarity. Understanding the demands of serving in ministry, Elder Nora believes you must have balance in your life.
God has afforded her to author three books: A Cry For Unity, Raise Your Level of Thinking and Mother Porter’s Cookbook. Elder Nora is also an excellent chef and is the owner and operator of Nora’s Catering. In addition, she always owns Nora’s Collection, specializing in upscale fashion for women. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling the world. Through God’s abundant grace, Elder Nora is successfully balancing being a wife, a mother, an entrepreneur and a leading lady in the Kingdom of God.

She is mother of four sons & grandmother of two grandsons and one granddaughter.
